Treasure of the Gold Dragon: A Branches Book (Dragon Masters #12) by Tracey West is I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who has a dyslexic child struggling with reading chapter books. Scholastic makes several series and stand alone books that are part of a line called the Branches Series. These books have good word selection, larger font, more pictures and truly help those who struggle to get going. It helped us so much that this is the first set of books I ever found my daughter picking up to read on her own. I would even find her sneaking to read it at night. Thank you Scholastic for this series!

They were not happy. Grandpa has even gotten into reading these as I caught him finishing the book after the boys went to bed. He just had to know what happened.

Each one does a good job of introducing a new dragon/rider and tying them into the series. Great for beginning readers getting into chapter books.They are long enough to develop characters and plot, but short enough to hold attention.Definitely recommend
Treasure of the Gold Dragon: A Branches Book (Dragon Masters #12) by Tracey West is Great read for my 2nd grade daughter. She finishes each book in about an hour or so. I have bought the whole collection and she is so upset she has to wait til April for book 13 because book 12 ended in a “cliffhangerâ€.
