About the Author James Dean’s art has sold in more than ninety galleries and shops across the United States. He has devoted his paintings to Pete the Cat for fifteen years and has turned his natural love for cats into his life’s work. James published his first adult book, The Misadventures of Pete the Cat, a history of his artwork, in 2006. He illustrated his first self-published children’s book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, in 2008, and the follow-up book, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes, in 2011. My 5 year old grandson loves Pete and his adventures as do the other 4 and 5 year olds in his Pre-K class. I love the fact that each story teaches a lesson in a really fun way for the children to appreciate. Buy some Pete the Cat for the little ones in your family. I think you'll love Pete too!
Pete the Cat: Out of This World by James Dean is The book came in an extremely thin bag without any protection. The book came wrinkled, and it is also a thin book. Not happy. Cannot give as a gift since it looks used because of the creases. Would suggest to ship with hard cardboard for protection. Update: seller refunded me for receiving a creased book.
